I know I havent been doing good at updating this blog since I had my hip surgery. But I'm back on it now and this first update is a biggie!
Gigi's 60th birthday!
We decided to have an outdoor themed "tiki" themed party for Gigi. We had a tiki hut, baloons, and everyone has lei's to wear!
....Even Stanley got into the act!!
And presenting, THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!!
We were all so happy to join together and celebrate Gigi's special day. Amy & Dave came over as well...we also grilled out "Carribean-style!" Jody, Dave & I kabob-ed our butts off! We made mushroom kabobs, zuchinni, squash, pineapple, then shrimp, chicken, and steak as well!
After Dinner, we had a special surprise for Gigi...FIREWORKS!!!
We had fireworks left over from our delayed fourth of July celebration. They were HUGE! I only got one picture because I was so shocked and after that I just couldnt stop laughing! For the past several years, The Kelly's, Pettitt's and Corne's have all gone in together and bought fireworks at Myrtle Beach. This year we bought the best ones ever. They were called "PREDATOR"
These fireworks were like the professional style ones you would go to a park to see. They were tremendously loud and totally awesome!

Can you imagine our shock when it sounded like an explosion? It was TOO COOL!
We had a BLAST! (haha...get it? )
